Transfer expert Duncan Castles has reported on the Daily Record website that Liverpool and Newcastle want to sign Bayer Leverkusen talent Iker Bravo – who is currently on loan at Real Madrid’s second-string side Castilla under Raul.
Bravo, 18, joined Leverkusen’s youth side from Barcelona in the summer of 2021 and after seven goals in 14 games for Bayer’s U19 side – and two senior outings – he was loaned to Barca’s rivals Madrid. He is a regular in the Castilla side.
Bravo has starred for Castilla, who play under Madrid legend Raul in the third tier of Spanish football. In 22 outings, he has had a hand in eight goals, playing either as a striker or from the left. Madrid want to sign him permanently.
There is a permanent £9m clause in his loan, but Madrid want to pay a smaller fee. That is according to Castles, who says that has opened up the chance for the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle and Marseille have become interested in him.

Liverpool and Newcastle want Leverkusen talent Bravo, on loan at Madrid
Indeed, all three clubs have asked Bayer about the availability of the eight-time Spain U19 star. A real gem and one for the future, available at a potential bargain price. But not, if Madrid decide to pay the required figure Leverkusen want.
Bravo would certainly have more chance of breaking in at the trio of clubs interested, than he would at Madrid. But, the lure of Carlo Ancelotti’s side would certainly interest him. Marseille are probably his best option in terms of game time.
In terms of a move to England, it might depend to Bravo which club finds themselves in the Champions League. But in the sense, that qualifying for the Europa League or Conference League might actually see him earn more game time.
