Liverpool and Newcastle United target Kalidou Koulibaly’s asking price has been slashed by £25 million, according to a report in the Daily Mirror.
FootMercato reported just last week that Napoli were looking to bring in £90 million for the centre-back, amid interest from Newcastle.
However, it seems that the Italian club have reduced their demands for the Senegalese international now, and would now take £65 million.
Whether Liverpool or Newcastle could be tempted to sign Koulibaly even at his cut price is still doubtful though.
Liverpool were said to be interested in Koulibaly by TuttoMercatoWeb earlier this month, but Jurgen Klopp’s side seemingly don’t have much money to spend this summer.

Klopp has already hinted that Liverpool face a quiet summer, despite their success this term.
Newcastle, meanwhile, would need their new owners to finally be approved to even be able to think about attracting Koulibaly.
