Reported Liverpool target Zion Atta has signed up with Mino Raiola’s agency after rejecting a new contract at Crystal Palace, as reported by the Mail.

The motor-mouth super-agent does not join forces with just any teenager. You have to be something rather special to catch Raiola’s eye.

After all, this is a man who added Matthijs de Ligt, Erling Haaland, Paul Pogba, Gigi Donnarumma, Moise Kean, Justin Kluivert and Ajax play-maker Ryan Gravenberch to his ranks before they celebrated their 20th birthdays.

Crystal Palace starlet Atta is now the latest Raiola client.

And given that the Dutchman has a track record of taking his players away from their current clubs – just ask Sir Alex Ferguson – there may be many at Selhurst Park fretting about the future of one of England’s most highly-rated youngsters.

The Mail reported in November that Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are all keen on Atta, who joined Crystal Palace from Millwall in a £60,000 deal when he was just 13.

The same publication claims that the England youth star, who is also eligible to play for Italy, has turned down the chance to sign scholarship and professional terms at Selhurst Park.

Roma are also interested in one of Raiola’s clients, the Dutch international Kluivert, is already contracted to the Giallorossi, albeit currently playing out on loan at RB Leipzig.
