Liverpool and Arsenal are both said to be eager to sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona.
Dembele moved to Barca for £105 million last year, but he has failed to live up to expectations at the Nou Camp.
The Spanish side are now said to have lost patience with the youngster, and Arsenal and Liverpool are both keen.
Whether Arsenal or Liverpool would have the sort of funds required to prise Dembele away from the Catalan giants remains to be seen, but he would make an exciting addition to either squad.
Dembele is blessed with the ability to use either foot and his pace makes him a major threat.
The 21-year-old is one of the quickest players in world football, and he may even be even faster than Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool have made positive starts to the season, and with Dembele involved from January they would become an even bigger threat going forward for the second half of the campaign.
