Leeds United midfielder Tyler Roberts has impressed the coaches at Thorp Arch over pre-season, despite being linked with a move away, the Yorkshire Evening Post say.
Roberts has been nursing a slight injury and Leeds this pre-season, but he has still managed to catch the eye in training.
And even though the Times suggest that Derby County want to sign the Welsh international, the YEP suggest that he won’t be leaving Leeds any time soon.
That news will surely be welcomed by Leeds supporters, as Roberts is a popular player at Elland Road.
Although the 21-year-old may not be guaranteed a starting place in Leeds’ line up, he is a player who has proven valuable to Marcelo Bielsa’s side over the last two seasons.

Roberts can cover in midfield or attack, and has an enviable skill set.
He is likely to be used as a covering option for Leeds over the campaign ahead, but keeping him around looks a smart choice, as Bielsa will surely need to use him fairly frequently, as he looks to keep his squad fresh for the full season.
