Celtic midfielder Liam Henderson will reportedly head to Bari on trial in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Bari head coach Fabio Grosso is ready to test Henderson for his side. According to The Daily Record, it will be a week-long trial at Bari.

Bari are in Serie B at the moment and are doing quite well, as they currently sit second in the table, just three points behind leaders Palermo, and could win the championship title.
Henderson has struggled for playing time at Celtic thisseason, and the talented and promising 21-year-old should do his best during his (reported) trial at the Italian club.

The Scotland Under-21 international is a very talented and promising young player who can operate as a central midfielder or as an attacking midfielder.
A six-month spell at Bari could do wonders for the Scotsman, who needs to play regular competitive football at this stage of his career to develop.
Celtic are set to win the Scottish Premiership title this season and have also dropped to the Europa League knockout rounds from the Champions League group stage.
