According to a report in the Scottish Sun, Celtic are seriously close to making a breakthrough in their pursuit of Lewis Morgan.

Morgan will be loaned back to St. Mirren for the rest of the season, as Celtic are conscious that he is one for the future, rather than an immediate player who can improve their starting line-up.

Celtic want Morgan to keep gaining experience with St. Mirren, before bringing him into their squad.
