Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic side look set to sign Lewis Morgan today.

Celtic have made the St. Mirren youngster one of their top targets in January, and Brendan Rodgers is now edging closer to landing his man.
Morgan is said to be due to have his Celtic medical today, with the signing expected to go through in the near future.

Morgan will be loaned back to St. Mirren for the rest of the season, as Celtic are conscious that he is one for the future, rather than an immediate player who can improve their starting line-up.
Celtic want Morgan to keep gaining experience with St. Mirren, before bringing him into their squad.

Morgan has impressed for St. Mirren in the Scottish Championship this season, after scoring 13 times.
Celtic are said to be set to pay £300,000 for the attacker, who they feel could develop into a star of the future at Parkhead.
