Lewis Baker is reported to be keen on a move to Leeds United, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The Chelsea youngster is claimed to have offers from other clubs but is willing to accept a switch to Leeds if the clubs can agree terms.

Talks are still ongoing between the clubs and it is unclear if a loan or permanent deal will be agreed. One option is a loan with an option to buy at the end of the deal.

Baker had a disappointing spell at Middlesbrough last season where he made only six Championship starts.

The 23-year-old is an exciting attacking midfielder and the Yorkshire Evening Post report he has been identified as a good fit for new boss Marcelo Bielsa’s system.

Baker has excelled in Chelsea and England’s youth teams but has not quite been able to crack it in England.

His best spell on loan came at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem where he scored 15 goals across two seasons in the Eredivisie.

He would be a gamble by Leeds, but one with a lot of upside if Baker can get it right.
