According to Calcio Mercato, Juventus have no intention of letting sporting director Fabio Paratici leave the club amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Juventus have enjoyed remarkable success in recent years, as they have now won six Serie A titles in a row to completely dominate Italian football.

Massimiliano Allegri has continued Antonio Conte’s success in Turin, but much of the praise has to go to Juventus’ recruitment staff, who has overseen some stunning deals in recent years.

The likes of Dani Alves, Sami Khedira and Blaise Matuidi have been snapped up in bargain deals in recent memory, with a move for Liverpool’s Emre Can – available for nothing this summer – now a top priority for Juve.

Sporting director Fabio Paratici has played a key role in those deals, and Calcio Mercato report that Tottenham Hotspur are once again interested in landing Paratici.

Paratici has been regularly linked with a move to North London, as Spurs chairman Daniel Levy – a shrewd businessman in his own right – is understood to be a huge fan of the Italian.

However, it’s claimed that Juventus have no intention of letting Paratici leave the club, and his future will remain with the Italian giants for the foreseeable future despite the prospect of being ‘handed the keys’ to Tottenham.

Spurs haven’t had a sporting director since fellow Italian Franco Baldini left the club in 2015, but recent issues in the transfer market may tempt Levy into making a similar appointment – though top target Paratici appears to be unavailable.
