Tottenham Hotspur appear to be closing in on another new signing.

According to a report from ESPN, Tottenham Hotspur should secure the signing of Vincent Janssen in the next five days.
The AZ Alkmaar striker has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane for quite some time and now ESPN are citing sources that have told them the 22-year-old is expected to finalise his move to Spurs this week.

The report goes on to claim that the player has already visited Hotspur Way to discuss personal terms and that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has travelled to Holland for transfer talks with the Eredivisie side.
Janssen scored 32 goals in 49 appearances for Alkmaar last season, a record that forced the great and the good of European football to take notice.

A recent report from French newspaper L’Equipe claimed Paris Saint-Germain had agreed a fee with Alkmaar for the player but that he favoured a switch to North London.
And now with ESPN suggesting that Levy has travelled with other members of the Tottenham hierarchy to conclude a deal, it seems Spurs fans may soon be able to celebrate yet another smart addition to their squad.
