Daniel Levy is said to be interested in appointing Hansi Flick for Tottenham Hotspur by the Telegraph.
Flick recently left his job at Bayern Munich leaving him on the market, and he is said to be an appealing option for Tottenham.
It was initially expected that Flick would take the German managerial job, but that has still not been confirmed – and Spurs’ interest certainly throws a spanner in the works.
The Telegraph have already reported that Flick would be interested in the Tottenham job if it was offered to him.
In terms of calibre, there are surely few better managers on the market for Spurs right now than Flick.
The German won Bayern the Champions League with a brilliant fluid system, and got the very best out of their attacking talents.

His appointment would show real ambition by Tottenham, and his history of winning the biggest trophies surely must appeal.
Flick, who was hailed as ‘world-class’ by Jurgen Klopp (ZDF), certainly seems a more proven choice than the likes of Graham Potter and Scott Parker, who have shown promise but have never taken on a club with Tottenham’s ambitions before.
And the news that Levy is now taking an interest in Flick is sure to set pulses racing in North London.
