According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic are set to increase their bid for Charlton Athletic talent Alfie Doughty.
It’s claimed that Celtic have had two bids rejected for Doughty, but Neil Lennon now wants the Bhoys to increase their offer to £800,000.
Celtic hope that will be enough to seal a deal, as Doughty is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning the Bhoys could just sign him on a pre-contract agreement in January.
Having allowed Boli Bolingoli to join Basaksehir though, Celtic want Doughty now, and hope to tempt Charlton into selling.
Doughty, 20, showed promise with Charlton last season, and got this term started in style as he scored in Charlton’s win over Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.

The speedy youngster can play as a left-wing back of left-winger, with Lennon surely seeing him as an ideal fit in Celtic’ 3-5-2 system.
Doughty is a real talent for the future, and Celtic seemingly hope to land a bargain – they will now hope their third bid is successful as they look to add him as competition for Greg Taylor.
