Rodrigo Riquelme could have doubts about joining Celtic this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Celtic are said to have an interest in signing the Atletico Madrid playmaker, and have offered him a place in their first-team.

However, there are apparently concerns over the amount of game time that he would get at Parkhead.

Celtic do have plenty of other options who can play in advanced midfield, including Callum McGregor, Tom Rogic and Olivier Ntcham.

And the youngster reportedly has some doubts over whether a move to Glasgow would be good for him.

Riquelme could be an appealing signing for Celtic, although not too much is known about him.

Riquelme has not appeared much outside of Atleti’s B team, and that is the reason why the 20-year-old seems to be considering his future.

It now appears that Neil Lennon will have to convince Riquelme that he will have a part to play, if he is to bring the creative midfielder to Scotland this summer.
