According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic boss Neil Lennon has a winger and an experienced centre half on his January wish list.
It’s claimed that Lennon will keep his job despite the 1-0 defeat to Rangers on Saturday afternoon, and has been given the green light to bring in reinforcements this month.
Lennon is believed to want an experienced centre back, which is quite something given that he brought in Shane Duffy for that role back in September.
The Irishman has struggled since arriving on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, and his poor displays mean Celtic are already considering other options.
Christopher Jullien’s knee ligament injury means another opening has popped up at Celtic, and the Daily Record claim that Declan Gallagher is a target.
The 29-year-old ticks the box of being experienced, whilst he would also come on the cheap given that he is out of contract in the summer.

As for a winger, the likes of Siriki Dembele and Patrick Roberts have both been linked of late, with James Forrest enduring injury problems this season.
Whether those additions will be enough to catch Rangers remains to be seen, but it’s clear that Lennon and Celtic need reinforcements this month.
