According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic could now offload Leigh Griffiths this summer – and joining Scott Brown at Aberdeen is a possibility.
It’s claimed that Griffiths fears he is about to be released by Celtic as he awaits a decision over his contract.
Celtic can activate a one-year option in the striker’s deal, which would keep him at Parkhead until 2022.
If they don’t activate the clause, Griffiths will be free to go, and Celtic only have until April 30th to make their plans known.
Griffiths seemingly thinks Celtic will let him go, and it’s suggested that Aberdeen would be keen to sign him, reuniting him with close friend Brown.
Brown has already confirmed that he is leaving Celtic for Aberdeen, and Griffiths could end up heading to Pittodrie in a shock reunion.

Hibernian may look to make Griffiths an offer too; the 30-year-old is a boyhood Hibs fan, and may be interested in a move back to Easter Road.
Griffiths has been a hero for Celtic, smashing 122 goals in 254 games for the Bhoys since arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2014.
The Scot would leave as a decorated player from a great Celtic era, but seeing him join forces with Brown at Aberdeen may leave some fearing revenge next season and beyond.
