Huddersfield manager David Wagner is reportedly attracting interest from Leicester with pressure on Claude Puel.

Puel isn’t expected to remain at the King Power Stadium beyond this season having lost four of their last five Premier League matches.

The Frenchman has achieved his goal of keeping the Foxes in the division after being appointed as Craig Shakespeare’s successor in October, but both the fans and the club’s hierarchy have become frustrated with the team’s style and results under his guidance.
Wagner was considered when Shakespeare was sacked earlier in 2017/18 but instead it was decided that former Southampton boss Puel was the right man to take them forwards.

The 46-year-old has impressed after guiding the Terriers to promotion from the Championship against the odds last term and with two matches left to play has a real chance of keeping them in the top flight of English football with a three-point gap between themselves and the relegation zone.
Huddersfield’s success despite a modest budget hasn’t only caught the eye of Leicester, with West Ham United also keeping tabs on Wagner.
