According to The Daily Record, Leicester City are about to make a bid of £15 million for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, but Aston Villa remain keen.
It has been reported that Arsenal, Newcastle United and Villa all are interested in signing Edouard from Celtic in the summer transfer window.
The Hoops reportedly want at least £20 million for the striker, but Leicester will test the water with a bid of £15 million for the Frenchman.
However, Villa, Arsenal and Newcastle all reportedly remain keen on securing the services of the 23-year-old.
Edouard is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership and scored 16 goals and provided three assists in the league this season.
Villa could do with more competition upfront, as Ollie Watkins is their main striker.

However, Leicester could have an advantage.
The Foxes could play in the Champions League or the Europa League next season, and that will give them a huge advantage.
Moreover, Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers worked with the striker at Celtic.
However, it remains to be seen if Celtic would be willing to accept £15 million for the striker when they want at least £20 million.
Likely not.
