Leicester City are reportedly keen on signing the Lokomotiv Moscow ace.

According to a report from Russian media outlet Izvestia, Leicester are lining up a €17 million (£15 million) summer swoop for Lokomotiv Moscow defender Solomon Kvirkvelia.
Claude Puel will be determined to bolster his ranks at the King Power Stadium this summer, and defence is obviously an area where he wants to strengthen before the start of the new season.
Russian broadsheet Izvestia claims that the Frenchman has identified the Lokomotiv Moscow centre-back as an ideal addition to his Leicester squad, and is prepared to pay £15 million to bring him to the east Midlands this summer.

It’s not the first time that the Foxes have been interested in signing Kvirkvelia either.
According to the Irish Sun, Puel tried to bring the defender to the club during the January transfer window.
Good signing for Leicester?
The 26-year-old is vastly experienced in playing at the very highest level, and has already earned 28 international caps for the Georgian national team.

Standing at 6ft 5in tall, Kvirkvelia is a man mountain, and is incredibly strong in the air. He would be the ideal long-term successor to Robert Huth, who is looking like leaving the Foxes this summer.
In today’s day and age, £15 million for the Georgian represents decent value, and if Puel does manage to bring him to the King Power, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Foxes.
