Leicester City are interested in signing Jamaal Lascelles from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported that Leicester are planning a £35 million move for Newcastle defender Lascelles.

Good move for Jamaal Lascelles?

Lascelles is settled at Newcastle and is a key figure at the Magpies, and leaving for Leicester in the summer transfer window would not make much sense for the former Nottingham Forest defender.

Leaving Newcastle for Leicester would not be a step up for the 24-year-old, even though the Foxes recently won the Premier League title and finished a place above Rafael Benitez’s side in the league table last season.

Need to keep Jamaal Lascelles

Lascelles is one of the best defenders in the Premier League, and Newcastle simply cannot afford to lose him.
