Leicester City are reportedly close to signing the Turkish youngster.

According to a report from the Mirror, Leicester are on the verge of striking a deal worth £22.5m including add-ons for Freiburg’s Turkish centre-back Çağlar Söyüncü.
Foxes boss Claude Puel will be keen to bolster his centre-back ranks, with Harry Maguire facing an uncertain future at the King Power Stadium, Wes Morgan on the wrong side of 34 and Robert Huth having been recently released.
Leicester have, of course, made a move to sign a central defender already, with Filip Benković on the verge of joining the east Midlands outfit.
Puel will be acutely aware that you can never have too many good players, though, and the addition of Söyüncü would undoubtedly be a positive move from the Foxes.

The 22-year-old Turkey international is highly regarded within the game, and was a reported target for Arsenal earlier on this summer, according to the Express.
And if Leicester manage to bring the Turk to the King Power Stadium for just £22.5 million this summer, it could turn out to be a real coup for the east Midlands outfit.
