Report: Leicester have recall option in Harvey Barnes’s West Bromwich Albion loan contract

Harvey Barnes joined West Bromwich Albion on loan from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.

According to The Birmingham Mail, Leicester City have the option to recall Harvey Barnes from his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion in January.

Barnes joined Championship club West Brom on loan from Premier League side Leicester in the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old midfielder to scheduled to stay at The Hawthorns until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

The Birmingham Mail, though, has stated that there is a recall option in Barnes’s West Brom’s loan contract for Leicester.

Worrying for West Bromwich Albion

Barnes has been one of the best players for West Brom so far this season and has established himself as a key figure in manager Darren Moore’s team.

The 20-year-old midfielder has scored two goals in six Championship appearances for the Baggies so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.

It would be quite a blow for West Brom if Leicester decide to recall the midfielder back to the King Power Stadium in the January transfer window.
