Ulloa is one Leicester City player said to be interesting Aston Villa.

Leicester City’s Islam Slimani ‘holds the key’ to Aston Villa’s hopes of signing Leonardo Ulloa, the Sun reports (page 50 of Thursday’s printed edition).
Both strikers are said to be out of favour at Leicester, however, it is claimed that manager Claude Puel will only allow one of them leave the King Power Stadium in January.
Aston Villa were linked with a loan move for Ulloa earlier this week (the Telegraph), but with Besiktas reportedly ‘lining up’ a £20 million bid for Slimani, it is likely the Foxes – who paid £29 million for the Algerian 18 months ago (BBC Sport) – would favour the latter deal.

Puel currently has six senior strikers to choose from, with Jamie Vardy and Shinki Okazaki the most frequently used this season, and there are question marks, too, over the futures of Ahmed Musa and Kelechi Iheancho.
Aston Villa are also said to be interested in loaning Leicester defender Daniel Amartey (the Telegraph).

The Villans are close to the limits regarding Financial Fair Play, leaving manager Steve Bruce to look primarily at temporary deals this winter.
