Leicester City are plotting a move for the French right-back.

Leicester City are weighing up a move for the experienced French right-back Bacary Sagna, according to reports from ESPN.
The 34-year-old was released by Manchester City earlier this summer, and he is a free agent at the moment.
The summer transfer window ended last Thursday but Sagna being a free agent, and probably one of the most in-demand free agents in the market, can still join a club.

The report claims that a number of clubs from abroad have shown an interest in Sagna with the likes of Benfica, Sporting Lisbon and some Turkish clubs, all keeping tabs on the player.
However, Leicester could join in the mix and offer him the chance to stay in the Premier League.
The Foxes are looking to bolster their defensive options, and Craig Shakespeare is keen to bring in a cover for the first choice right-back Danny Simpson.

Sagna, who has made 65 appearances for his country, spent three seasons at City after joining from Arsenal on a free transfer.
The right-back started 17 Premier League games last season, but he was allowed to leave after his contract expired in June.
