Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard and Celtic manager Neil Lennon may face fights to keep hold of their key players.

According to TeamTalk, Brendan Rodgers could have a transfer plan which Celtic and Glasgow Rangers supporters will not like.

Rodgers left Celtic to join Leicester City back in February, and it seems that he could return to Scotland to raid his former club and Rangers.

Leicester are said to have an interest in Celtic’s Kieran Tierney and Rangers duo James Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos.

The Foxes plan to fund the move by selling Harry Maguire, and the Ibrox side will be fearing the worst if they were to lose two of their key players.

Steven Gerrard has played both Morelos and Tavernier regularly at Rangers this term, with the pair having excellent seasons.

Celtic may be equally frustrated if Rodgers does come for their star defender too.

Tierney and Rodgers share a strong relationship, but whether the left-back would be open to leaving Parkhead remains to be seen.
