Leicester City are reportedly weighing up a summer bid for the Borussia Monchengladbach winger.

A report emanating from Germany yesterday claims that the Foxes are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach ace Thorgan Hazard, according to German publication Bild, with Riyad Mahrez’s future at the King Power Stadium shrouded in doubt.
The Algeria international has not been part of Leicester’s first-team set-up since handing in a transfer request on transfer deadline day.
The east Midlands outfit rejected three bids from Manchester City for his services, and Mahrez was left devastated.
It is hard to envisage a situation where the 26-year-old will play for the Foxes again, and Bild claim that they are already lining up a replacement for him in the shape of the 24-year-old Belgian.

Would Hazard be an adequate replacement for Mahrez?
The exciting younger brother of Chelsea ace Eden Hazard has enjoyed a successful season thus far with Monchengladbach, scoring seven goals and chipping in with four assists in 21 outings thus far.
Hazard, 24, is a left winger by trade, although he can play anywhere along the front line, and operates in a very similar fashion to his older brother, in the way that he cuts in from the left onto his right foot.

He is valued at £18 million, according to TransferMarkt, and that would represent decent value for Leicester, but replacing Mahrez would be a tall order.
Hazard is a wonderfully talented player, however, and it would be no surprise to see him be a success in the Premier League, if Leicester do in fact sign him in the summer.
