Premier League champions Leicester City are the latest club to show interest in Leeds United’s Charlie Taylor, according to the Daily Mirror.
Leicester scout Dave Philpotts is said to have attended Leeds’ EFL Cup win against Norwich at Elland Road on Tuesday, although Taylor was rested by head coach Garry Monk.
It is claimed that the Foxes, whose squad contains promising left-back Ben Chilwell, are eyeing Taylor as Christian Fuchs’ eventual successor.

However, Leicester are likely to face competition for the Leeds man, who the Telegraph reports will be the subject of a bid from West Bromwich Albion in January.
Taylor was linked with a string of other top-flight clubs during the summer transfer window, having rejected a new contract at Leeds.

Despite this, the 23-year-old, whose existing deal expires at the end of the campaign, has remained a regular at Elland Road this term and is yet to miss a single minute for the Whites.
Taylor’s exit would leave Leeds short in his position, with only Tyler Denton, who has appeared just once for the Yorkshire side team, as cover.
