A report claims the Gunners scouted the Czech throughout last season, but both Leicester and Bournemouth are readying bids.
Arsenal have been jumped by Premier League rivals Leicester City and Bournemouth in the queue of clubs chasing Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto, according to the Guardian.
The report claims the Gunners scouted Jankto throughout last season, during his loan to Italian Serie B side Ascoli, for whom he scored five goals in 34 league appearances.
However, it adds that both Leicester and Bournemouth are readying bids now, with the Czech’s contract expiring at the end of the campaign.

Despite this, Udinese are looking for at least £8 million the 20-year-old, who has played just once this season – according to the Guardian.
A left-side central midfield player, Jankto is likely viewed by Bournemouth as a replacement for Jack Wilshere, who has been loaned to the Vitality Stadium by Arsenal until the summer.
However, the Gunners may also have their eyes peeled for Wilshere’s successor, with the England man’s contract expiring in 2018.
That said, any offer from Leicester, whose reward for winning last season’s Premier League is a favourable Champions League group, is sure to be considered by the former Slavia Prague youngster.
