The Premier League champions are in the market for further options up front but the Pescara hotshot is a man in demand.
Leicester City’s hunt for striker talent is set to see them take on Serie A powerhouses Juventus and AC Milan for Pescara star Gianluca Lapadula, according to Sky Sports.
The forward netted 30 times in the season just gone, and the club’s president had previously been quoted by Sky suggesting Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri was keeping an eye on Laladula.

With there being some uncertainty regarding the future of star striker Jamie Vardy, the 29-year-old yesterday netting for England at the European Championships in France, the Foxes are understandably looking to reinforce their attacking options with the club set to feature in the Champions League for the first time in their history next season.
It’s no surprise that Lapadula is in demand after a sensational campaign last year where the 26-year-old helped fire his side to promotion.

It caused the likes of Leicester and, as previously reported by the Mirror, Tottenham, to take an interest, but with no mention of Spurs in the Sky report, it appears as if the Foxes main challengers for his signature will be from Italy.

The report goes on to say that Juventus want to sign former youth player Lapadula and then loan him out to another Serie A side, which could be attractive to Pescara if they can receive the forward on loan on their return to the top flight.
