According to a report from German media outlet Bild, Premier League sides Leicester and Watford are interested in signing Hannover 96 hitman Niclas Füllkrug this summer.

The 25-year-old has been in fine form for his club this season, scoring 15 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions thus far.

Füllkrug joined Hannover from Nuremberg in the summer of 2016, and he has established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s best strikers, scoring 20 goals in 64 games.

Bild claim that the Foxes and the Hornets are interested in bringing the German to the Premier League this summer.

The German publication reports that £8 million could be enough to secure his services.

Füllkrug is a strong centre-forward who excels when playing with his back to goal, and he would be ideally suited to play the target man role for either Leicester or Watford.

Both clubs mentioned are in need of another striker this summer, and despite the 25-year-old’s lack of pedigree in the English game, for just £8 million, he is surely well worth taking a risk on.
