Leicester City and Everton are both allegedly keen to sign the Chelsea midfielder.

According to a report from the Sun (live transfer blog, 13:18), Leicester and Everton have shown interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater on loan.
The 28-year-old left the Foxes for the Blues in the summer of 2017 for around £35 million, but he has struggled to establish himself at Stamford Bridge, making just five Premier League starts.
Drinkwater enjoyed a wonderfully successful five-and-a-half year spell with Leicester, winning the Premier League title in 2016.
And now the Sun claims that the east Midlands outfit, along with Everton, have shown interest in signing the three-capped England international.
Drinkwater would be a useful addition for Leicester, especially considering the fact that he wouldn’t need time to settle, having spent so much time at the King Power Stadium.

The Toffees, meanwhile, could certainly use a player like the 28-year-old, especially if one of either Idrissa Gueye or James McCarthy leave Goodison Park before tonight’s deadline.
According to the Sun, however, both Leicester and Everton will face competition from West Ham for his signature.
