Leicester City’s Jeffrey Schlupp has been linked with West Bromwich Albion.
According to Sky Sports (live transfer thread, 12 August 2016 at 20:08), Leicester City’s Jeffrey Schlupp has been removed from the weekend matchday squad in the wake of a new bid from West Bromwich Albion.
The report claims that the Baggies have already seen two offers rejected by the Foxes, yet a third flat £12 million bid seems may have done the trick as Schlupp is removed from the squad to face Hull City.
The Foxes begin their defence of their Premier League crown with a trip to relegation candidates Hull, and Schlupp was initially named among the squad to travel to the KC Stadium.

The versatile left-sided player came through the Leicester youth ranks and soon found first-team opportunities under former boss Nigel Pearson, making 35 Premier League appearances in 2014-15.
However, the arrival of Claudio Ranieri as boss saw Schlupp spend much of last season on the peripherals of the first-team, making 24 league appearances with most of those as a substitute.
With Leicester strengthening their squad further this summer, it’s likely that even if the Ghana ace does remain at the King Power Stadium, he could see his playing time restricted even more.
West Brom have been extremely quiet this summer in terms of transfers, yet with boosted finances behind Tony Pulis, the former Stoke City boss is expected to spend before the transfer deadline.
The Baggies are in need of a new full-back and importantly added youth, making a deal for Schlupp a worthwhile exercise even if it means spending more than what they hoped.
