Leeds United are keen to pay the money needed to sign Alvaro Negredo.
According to The Mirror, Leeds United are willing to meet Alvaro Negredo’s £6.4 million valuation.
Super Deporte reported earlier this month that Leeds were interested in the former Manchester City striker, who cost the Citizens £24 million back in 2013.
But The Mirror has claimed that the Championship club are willing to stump up the money needed to buy the Spain international, who has 21 caps under his belt.

The report goes on to suggest the Whites could face competition from Premier League side Swansea City, though Negredo is seemingly willing to listen to United’s offer.
However, Leeds have something of an ace up their sleeve in the form of Director of Football Victor Orta, who brought Negredo to Middlesbrough on loan last season.
The Spanish hitman managed nine goals in 33 top-flight appearances for the Teeside outfit last season.
Chris Wood scored 27 Championship goals for Leeds last term but the New Zealand striker has been linked with a move away this summer.
