Marcelo Bielsa is keen on working with Eberechi Eze at Leeds United with the Premier League newcomers expected to target the £20 million-rated QPR talisman now their promotion has been confirmed, according to The Sun.
A London-born 22-year-old was perhaps the most impressive opposition player to step foot on the hallowed Elland Road turf this season.
Back in November, QPR were swept aside 2-0 by the most professional of Leeds performances.
But, at times during a nervy opening half, Liam Cooper and co simply couldn’t lay a glove on QPR’s swaggering number ten, who had the division’s best defence dancing to his tune.
Maybe it was that fleet-footed display of craft and class which convinced Bielsa to make a move for Eze if Leeds finally secured their place in the Promised Land.
The Sun reports that the West Yorkshire giants informed QPR in January that they would target the £20 million-rated playmaker once their return to the big time was secured.
And with it confirmed that Leeds are ‘going up as ****** champions’, to use a rather popular expression, the Whites are now set to step up their pursuit of one of the Championship’s most naturally gifted players.

The Sun claims that Bielsa has informed owner Andrea Radrizzani of his admiration for the England U21 international, with Leeds apparently set to oubid the likes of West Ham, Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur.
Eze scored his 14th goal of 2019/20 with a sublime finish against West Brom on Wednesday.
“It was a great first touch and finish from an outstanding player,” QPR boss Mark Warburton told the club’s official website.
