Leeds United could make a move for Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi, according to Milan Live.
The Italian publication claims that Florenzi could become an important player for Marcelo Bielsa’s side next term, if he makes the move to Leeds.
Florenzi has spent his entire career to date contracted to Roma, but was loaned out to Valencia last term, and it is thought that his time in the Italian capital is now coming to an end.
Leeds are now rumoured to be interested in snapping up the long-serving full-back, who would bring a great deal of experience with him.
Roma would settle upon a fee of around £13.5 million, which could put him well within Leeds’ price-range.
Florenzi would surely be an appealing addition to Bielsa’s side.
The 29-year-old is blessed with great attacking quality, but he has also proven to be very robust over the years in Serie A.
If Florenzi was to move to Leeds he would be in competition with Luke Ayling for a first-team place.
