According to The Sun, Leeds United want to bring Molde midfielder Fredrik Aursnes to Elland Road this summer.
It’s claimed that the Whites have identified Aursnes as a potential signing, with the 24-year-old valued at around £5million.
Toulouse want Aursnes too, but a move to the Premier League will surely be more appealing than heading to France’s second tier.
Aursnes allegedly wants to test himself outside of Norway now, and he could earn himself a big move to Leeds.
Primarily a holding midfielder, Aursnes has racked up 148 appearances for Molde, with 18 goals and 22 assists in that time.
A hard-working and industrious midfielder, Aursnes ticks some boxes for Marcelo Bielsa, especially as he could be fairly cheap cover for Kalvin Phillips.

Aursnes played under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde, and the current Manchester United boss seemed to be a huge fan.
Solskjaer told Aftenposten in 2016 that he felt Aursnes was a ‘leader’ on the pitch, and that kind of praise backs up his character as well as his quality – and he could end up facing Solskjaer in the Premier League next season.
