Leeds United have seemingly joined Newcastle United in the race to sign Charles De Ketelaere.
The 21-year-old Belgian prospect, who can play as a striker, number 10 or out wide, is heavily linked with a summer move to the Premier League.
Seventeen goals in 41 appearances across all competitions for Club Brugge has made him hot property, particularly given his versatility.
Italian journalist Sacha Tavolieri revealed two weeks ago that Newcastle were keen on the youngster – and now Leeds are reportedly interested, too.
According to Team Talk, the Elland Road outfit are among the English clubs who have taken a look at the player in recent months.
The report adds that the likes of Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also interested.
Tavolieri claimed in the aforementioned revelation that De Ketelaere will cost around £33.5 million, meaning Leeds, in particular, would have to make him their club-record signing.

A £26 million deal for Rodrigo in 2020 currently stands as the most money the Whites have ever spent on one player [ESPN].
And obviously a prospect like De Ketelaere would dwarf that.
The problem is, Newcastle are a genuine threat.
The St James’s Park club are poised to stay in the Premier League this season and if that happens, which it will, Eddie Howe will oversee a historic spending spree on Tyneside.
Backed by Saudi Public Investment Fund, Newcastle will spend an absolute fortune this summer and if they want the Belgian wonderkid – genuinely want him – then there’s little that Leeds or anyone else can do about it.
