Leeds United defender Tom Pearce is reportedly wanted by Scunthorpe United on January transfer deadline day.

It has been reported that the 20-year-old, who can operate as a left-back or as a left wing-back, will join Scunthorpe on loan until the end of the season.
Good move for Tom Pearce?
Pearce has been playing for the Leeds first team this season and has done relatively well when the youngster has been called into action.
According to WhoScored, the England Under-21 international has made two substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the former Everton prospect made five appearances in the league for the West Yorkshire outfit, according to WhoScored.
It is clear that Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa does not consider Pearce to be ready to play regularly for the first team yet, and a loan spell at Scunthorpe in League One will help in his development and progress as a footballer.
