Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson is reportedly on his way to Brentford.

According to West London Sport, Pontus Jansson will join Brentford from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Brentford are close to securing the services of Jansson from Championship rivals Leeds.

The report has also claimed that the West Yorkshire outfit will be paid around £5 million as transfer fee for the Sweden international central defender.

Good signing for Brentford?

Jansson does make mistakes from time to time, but the 28-year-old central defender is one of the best players in his position in the Championship.

Brentford are reportedly about to sign a very good player who will enhance their chances of finishing in the top six of the league table next season.
