Leeds United’s Mallik Wilks is interesting Everton, according to a report.

According to The Daily Mail, Leeds United starlet Mallik Wilks is being targeted by Everton in January.
The 18-year-old striker is currently on loan at Accrington Stanley in League Two and has netted five goals in all competitions.
He is due to return to Leeds in January unless his loan is extended but, according to The Mail, Everton are interested in a swoop for the youngster.
The report also adds that West Bromwich Albion have “extensively scouted” him this season.

Wilks is one of the most highly-rated prospects in the Whites’ academy and already made his senior debut in last season’s FA Cup defeat at Sutton United.
But Leeds have an abundance of striking options in the first team and at youth level so it remains to be seen whether such competition impedes his route to the senior side on a regular basis.

Still, fans of the Elland Road club think highly of him and surely they would be disappointed to lose such a talent – especially if he develops into a top striker.
If rumours are to be believed, a Premier League side of Everton’s stature simply wouldn’t be interested in him unless he was a fine prospect and perhaps that is worth keeping in mind.
