According to The Daily Record, Leeds United central defender Liam Cooper will get the chance to play for Scotland under new manager Steve Clarke.

It has been reported that Clarke, who was recently appointed as the Scotland manager, has held positive discussions with the Leeds captain regarding being in the squad for upcoming Euro 2020 qualifying games against Cyprus and Belgium.

The 27-year-old centre-back has played for the Scotland Under-17 and the Scotland Under-19 teams, and he was called up to the senior squad when Gordon Strachan was in charge.

However, the former Hull City defender did not get a look-in under Alex McLeish, but it seems that he will play for Scotland under Clarke.
