Leeds United defender Liam Cooper has yet to play for the Scotland senior team.

It has been reported that Clarke, who was recently appointed as the Scotland manager, has held positive discussions with the Leeds captain regarding being in the squad for upcoming Euro 2020 qualifying games against Cyprus and Belgium.
The 27-year-old centre-back has played for the Scotland Under-17 and the Scotland Under-19 teams, and he was called up to the senior squad when Gordon Strachan was in charge.
However, the former Hull City defender did not get a look-in under Alex McLeish, but it seems that he will play for Scotland under Clarke.

Just reward
Cooper had a very good season on a personal level in 2018-19 and was one of the best players for Leeds in the Championship.
According to WhoScored, the 27-year-old scored three goals and provided one assist in 38 Championship appearances for Leeds this season.
