Lewie Coyle will reportedly leave Leeds United for Fleetwood Town on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.

Leeds United defender Lewie Coyle will join Fleetwood Town on loan in the summer transfer window, according to The Yorkshire Evening Post.

It has been reported that the youngster will move to Fleetwood for the 2017-18 campaign, and that he started training with the League One club yesterday.

Coyle, who is 21 years of age and operates as a right-back, has come through the academy at Leeds, but he has found first-team chances at Elland Road limited.

The Englishman, who can also play as right-winger, will hope to get regular playing time at League One outfit Fleetwood, who are managed by former Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler.

Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the report claiming that Coyle will leave the Whites on loan.

Coyle is a very talented and promising young right-back, but he needs regular play time in order to develop his game and improve himself.

Moving to League One would be a step down for the youngster, but he would be working with Rosler, who is a very good manager.
