Leeds United goalkeeper Kiko Casilla will not lose his clean-sheet bonus for the draw with Aston Villa last weekend, according to The Times.

The Whites played out a 1-1 draw with Villa at Elland Road in the Championship last weekend.

Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa instructed his players to allow the Villans to score an uncontested goal following the controversial strike from Mateusz Klich in the 72nd minute.

According to The Times, Casilla – who joined Leeds in the January transfer window after leaving Spanish and European giants Real Madrid – gets a bonus for keeping a clean sheet, and the 32-year-old Spaniard will get it despite last weekend’s game ending in 1-1 draw.

Playoffs

Leeds have failed to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season and will have to clinch promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.

The Whites are likely to meet Derby County, Middlesbrough or Bristol City in the Championship playoff semi-final.

Leeds will face Ipswich Town away from home in the Championship on Sunday in the final game of the ‘regular’ season.
