Leeds United want to sign West Ham striker Jordan Hugill on loan, report The Sun.
West Ham signed Hugill from Preston in January but he was not given a run of games to show what he can do.
Now Leeds are reportedly keen to sign the £10 million striker on loan.
It is claimed the Whites face competition from Queen’s Park Rangers for Hugill’s signature.
The Whites have so far only signed Lewis Baker on loan from Chelsea.
Derby striker Matej Vydra is on their shortlist and a loan move for Hugill could potentially allow room for both.
Leeds appointed Marcelo Bielsa as manager last month.
Hugill played only three matches for West Ham and he is not considered to be in new manager Manuel Pellegrini’s plans.
He scored eight goals in 27 games for Preston last season before making the switch.
