Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United side are reportedly set to step up their chase for Lewis Macleod soon.

Leeds are set to step up their interest in the attacking midfielder, who is reportedly certain to leave Brentford.
Macleod has just months remaining on his contract with the Bees, and they have not been able to agree terms.
Leeds could now look to strike a cut price deal with Brentford in January, as Marcelo Bielsa looks to bolster his squad at Elland Road.
Bielsa has previously played down the need for signings in January, but Macleod is said to be on Leeds’ radar now.
Macleod has struck three goals and claimed three assists so far this term for Brentford, with his creativity earning him plenty of plaudits.

Replacing Saiz is set to be a tough task for Leeds, as he is such a talented player in possession at Championship level.
But Macleod is also an excellent technician and he appears to be the man that Bielsa wants to fill the void.
