Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Swansea City defender Kyle Bartley.

According to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are keen to sign Swansea City defender Kyle Bartley on a season long loan.
Bartley has found it difficult to break into Swansea’s starting line-up in recent seasons, which has halted his development.
The 25-year-old is regarded as a bright talent, and he has impressed at the Liberty Stadium when handed a chance, but Swansea are now willing to allow him to leave on a temporary basis.

Monk worked with Bartley during his time in charge at the Welsh club, and knows the defender’s talents well.
Leeds are keen to bring in a centre-back this summer, as their options in that position currently look limited.
While Liam Cooper had an impressive season last term, questions marks remain over Sol Bamba and Giuseppe Bellusci.

Bellusci has attracted attention from Italy and could be in line for a move back to his homeland, after making a series of errors during the previous campaign.
Bartley played just eight times for Swansea last season, and he has not made a competitive appearance in 2016.
