According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have rejected a bid from Monaco for young playmaker Emile Smith Rowe.
Monaco’s new sporting director Paul Mitchell is thought to be a huge fan of Smith Rowe, having brought him to Leipzig in 2019.
The Ligue 1 side made a bid to sign Smith Rowe permanently, but Arsenal have no plans to sell because Mikel Arteta wants to work with him.
Crystal Palace want to buy Smith Rowe too, whilst it’s claimed that both Fulham and Leeds United are interested in taking him on loan.
Smith Rowe spent the second half of last season on loan in West Yorkshire, as he impressed out at Huddersfield Town.
The 20-year-old is allegedly valued at up to £15million, meaning there may still be some hope for interested clubs.

An attacking midfielder with just two Premier League appearances to his name, Smith Rowe may now be ready for top-flight action.
Leeds and Fulham can offer that without Arsenal losing one of their top prospects, with Monaco’s bid far from the end of the story with Smith Rowe.
