The Swansea City defender was on loan at Leeds United last season.
According to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are waiting in the wings in case Swansea City decide to accept fresh bids for centre-back Kyle Bartley.
The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at Elland Road, featuring 50 times in all competitions and forming a superb partnership with Pontus Jansson.

The Swede subsequently agreed a permanent move to Leeds but Bartley returned to his parent club, where he will be hoping to impress during pre-season.
That said, Leeds are said to be keeping a very close eye on proceedings and are keen to make a new bid if there is any sign the Swans would be willing to cash in on the player this summer.
Bartley has featured just 26 times for Swansea’s first-team since arriving at the Liberty Stadium and he will not want to be a bit-part player next season.
At Leeds he would slot straight back in alongside Jansson, with the Whites worryingly short of defensive options heading into the new Championship campaign.
New Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen only has Jansson and Liam Cooper to call on, along with the much-maligned and seemingly exit-bound Giuseppe Bellusci.
