According to Football.London, Leeds United have turned down Tottenham Hotspur’s bid for Jack Clarke.

Earlier this week, The Daily Mail reported that Tottenham had made an offer of £10 million for Leeds winger Clarke.

Football.London has now claimed that the Championship have rejected that bid from the Premier League outfit.

Good decision from Leeds United?

Clarke is a very talented and promising young winger who can only get better in the coming years, and it is smart of Leeds to have reportedly turned down Tottenham’s £10m bid.

True, £10m is a lot of money, especially for a Championship club, but if Leeds are to launch yet another promotion challenge next season, then they have to keep hold of their best players and their most promising youngsters.

According to WhoScored, the 18-year-old, who can also operate as a forward, made four starts and 20 substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
