Aston Villa reportedly want Kalvin Phillips of Leeds United.

According to The Express, Leeds United have turned down a bid from Aston Villa for Kalvin Phillips.
It has been reported that Villa – who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship – made an offer of £14 million for Phillips, but Leeds turned it down and value the central midfielder at £28m.
Good decision from Leeds United?
Phillips is one of the best central midfielders in the Championship, and one can understand why Villa are reportedly interested in the 23-year-old.
However, Leeds are right to have reportedly turned down the Villans’ £14m offer, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side need the youngster for next season to clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Leeds do not really have a player who can replace Phillips in the team. Moreover, the 23-year-old also operated as a central defender on occasions last season.
While cashing in on Phillips may seem tempting, Leeds need to hold onto their best players in order to get out of the Championship and into the Premier League.
