Blackburn Rovers face a tough battle to hang on to top young talent Jake Garrett.

Championship competitors Leeds United are showing interest, along with Derby County and Fulham, according to ESPN.

There is serious competition from Manchester United, Leicester City and Crystal Palace too.

Garrett is just 15-years-old and is and England youth international who plays at centre-back.

He could follow in the footsteps of Phil Jones by swapping Blackburn for Manchester United, but this would be easier for Rovers fans to stomach, due to the Red Devils’ status as one of England’s elite teams.

Blackburn would not be so impressed if new Championship rivals Leeds or Derby were successful in tempting Garrett away.

Leeds in particular have made extensive efforts over the last 12 months to add players to their youth teams, and their under-18s won their division last season, which could help them persuade Garrett to make the switch.
